Northwest Insurance Consultants dba NW Claims Service has a privacy policy concerning the treatment of "non-public personal information" of its customers including, but not limited to, claimants and policy holders. Federal and State laws prohibit Northwest Insurance Consultants dba NW Claims Service from disclosing "non-public personal information" to non-affiliated third-parties unless otherwise permitted or required by law. "Nonpublic personal information" includes both financial and health information such individuals.
By undertaking an assignment, Northwest Insurance Consultants dba NW Claims Service agrees to:
- Protect the confidentiality of all "nonpublic personal information" that we obtain from or on behalf of our client in performing our service obligations to our clients, and not disclose such information outside our organization except as permitted by federal or state law;
- Restrict access to all "non-public personal information" that we obtain from or on behalf of our clients to those individuals in our organization that require such information in order to perform our assignment requirements;
- Use all "non-public personal information" only for the purpose of an assignment;
- Assume full and complete responsibility for all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees and court costs), obligations, liabilities, fines, penalities and other damages of any and all kinds (collectively referred to as "damages") against Northwest Insurance Consultants dba NW Claims Service arising from or related to an actual or alleged "breach" of the foregoing obligations of confidentiality and nondisclosure;
- Maintain practices and procedures to protect the confidentiality of all "non-public personal information" that we obtain from or on behalf of our clients.
These confidentiality and nondisclosure obligations shall survive any termination of this agreement or other relationship with Northwest Insurance Consultants dba NW Claims Service.
